Malcolm Lindsay

Malcolm Lindsay, a Jamaican realist with a modernist vision who took an interest in art at an early age. His admiration for Art History and Caribbean Studies developed his desire for Visual Art in which he completed at the (CSEC) and CAPE Level. In 2017 he was awarded a bronze medal in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) visual arts competition and has exhibited works in the “And I Resume the Struggle” summer edition. His works explore self-identity, violence on society, politics and history that some would consider the ugly truth.

Shasha Porter

Shasha Porter first studied Visual Arts and Visual Communication at Lacovia High school. She was born on May 29, 1997 in St. Elizabeth where she watched her brother draw and her cousin do murals on the walls of the schools and places of business in her community. She graduated from the Edna Manley College where she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting (2020). Her first exhibition was The Heart and Soul Creative Home Show (2018) at the Sovereign Center, in Liguanea, Kingston. She was a co-curator and a participant of the Manifestations Student Exhibition (2018) at the Edna Manley College. She volunteers on the production of murals as part of her association with Kingston Creative and was a part of the mural team for Pepsi JAMICAN campaign. Porter’s work signifies her experiences and perception of society. Her work is influenced by race, identity, and religious iconographies.

Mikheal Deans is a Jamaican visual artist, painter, animator, cartoonist, graphics designer, and entrepreneur. Mikheal Deans was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on (January 14, 1994), He lives in Kingston, Jamaica, and currently works as an animator at The University of The West Indies, Mona. His personal brand Kheal’s Studios covers Animation, Graphic Designs, and Drawings, he is committed to excellent customer service, panache, and the creation of exquisite work
